Social Service

The En Ka Society Social Service Committee provides confidential need-based financial assistance to Winchester residents who are experiencing financial hardship.

Beneficiaries may identify themselves to the Social Service Chairs via email (socialservice@enkasociety.org) or an application may be submitted on their behalf by an agency validating the financial need.

Past funding examples:

• Urgent financial assistance to individuals or families for food, rent, insurance, etc.
• Holiday and “back to school” gift cards
• Scholarships for children to attend summer camp and enrichment programs
• Funding within the school system for students in need

En Ka’s social service work is supported by generous grants from Cummings Foundation and Winchester Mount Vernon House.
