Outreach Services

 

The En Ka Society Outreach Committee responds to community service needs, such as:

 

  • Provides volunteer drivers for Meals-On-Wheels
  • Recruits members to prepare and deliver after-school snacks daily to the ABC (A Better Chance) House
  • Provides volunteers at Jenks Center events
  • Provides birthday cakes and social teas at Mt. Vernon House/ Elderly Housing
  • Provides readers to Winchester nursing homes
  • Participates in the beautification of the town by gardening two ‘islands’
  • Provides programming and events at Winchester Housing Authority
